About Me

Before training in expressive arts therapy, I trained and worked as an architect. I was always interested in how the spaces around us shape how we feel. Over time, that curiosity shifted from the spaces we build around us to the spaces we carry within.

My experience of immigration and moving between places has also shaped how I think about identity and belonging. I see identity as something that continues to evolve as we move through different chapters of our lives—leaving older versions of ourselves, discovering new ones, and finding our way toward a sense of home within.

In my work, I hope to offer a warm and collaborative space where curiosity, creativity, conversation, and reflection can unfold naturally. I see therapy as a shared journey—one where we can explore your experiences and stories together while making room for new ways of seeing, becoming, and moving forward.

How I Work

I believe creativity is our birthright. Creating, imagining, and being curious are deeply human capacities. Sometimes we need to give ourselves permission to be curious—to move beyond what we already know, make room for what might be possible, or reconnect with ways of knowing that do not always need words.

In our work together, conversation may be accompanied by other ways of exploring and expressing experience. An image, a colour, a metaphor, writing, movement, mindfulness, or art-making may become part of the process.

No experience with art is needed. Curiosity and a willingness to experiment are enough to begin. Together, we can notice what emerges, what resonates, and what meaning it may hold for you—sometimes discovering possibilities that may not have been visible before.

Who I Work With

I work with adults who may be navigating change, loss, uncertainty, or a sense that something in life no longer fits as it once did. You may be moving through a life transition, grief or loss, questions of identity and belonging, immigration or relocation, caregiving, changes in your relationship with your body, or simply feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself.

Sessions are available in English and Farsi.

My work also includes expressive arts groups and workshops in community settings.
